Volunteers are the backbone of any non-profit organization and we are no different. There is so much that we want to do and accomplish and we wouldn’t even make a dent in that list if it wasn’t for our members who share our mission and our passion. Introducing different skill sets into the organization allow us to keep things current, to put on the workshops and meet & greets. These programs are essential to our Pathways to Independence project, providing that roadmap. Volunteers who are peer mentors, sharing their stories and experiences to guide a newly injured/diagnosed individual along their rehabilitation journey. Whether it be school or work our volunteer group just make things a little less stressful and we include their family and friends. This journey is easier when not traveled alone.
